Original Yoga Challenge Day 10: Yoga for the Side Body

So, who’s ready for Day 10 of this yoga challenge?!

Today’s class focus is a little different than usual because we’re focusing on the sides of the body. How often do you think about that area? Probably never! And that’s exactly why we’re paying it some much needed attention and getting into the muscles in the sides, around the ribs, and even under the arms.

Since it’s one of those super neglected areas of our bodies, it’ll feel AMAZING to show it some love 🙂

Over to you! How did it feel? Every time I do a class like this, it feels like I’m cleaning out cobwebs from my muscles, haha. SO MUCH TIGHTNESS that I didn’t even know existed! Am I the only one?!

Really liked that last stretch to get the neck a bit deeper. Painting the outside wall, that’s great! Thanks Erin!

I really liked the series of stretches today, thank you! I tend to sleep on my side and everything from my neck and down along my ribs ends up getting squished.

UGH that felt SO GOOD! I love stretching places you didn’t know needed stretching 🙂 I do have a question Erin – down dog KILLS my wrists. Is there anything I can do to strengthen them? I’m new-ish to yoga and this is my first time doing the challenge. I was hoping they’d feel better by now but maybe I’m being a little impatient 😉

This one was so good my dog Angus sat in front of me on the mat & raised his yoga legs to stretch too. Needless to say I had to go back after & do it after laughing. Love our pets & yoga!
