Pose With a Purpose: Cobra vs Updog
I’m so glad you guys liked this series! SO many of you wanted to know more about Cobra and Updog and how to make them work better for you.
So today’s episode is all about what the differences between them are, how to do them better, and the anatomy behind each.
Even if you’re an intermediate or an advanced yogi, this will refresh your view on these fundamental poses.
Enjoy!

December 5, 2016 at 7:48 amI loved this breakdown of Cobra vs. Updog, I wasn’t actually aware the thighs come off the mat in updog, so i’m glad I started off my day by learning something new. Thanks ERIN! <3

Thanks! Much love!

December 13, 2016 at 6:54 pmHi Erin! Thank you so much for this awesome video! I would like to ask if you would break down pigeon pose? For some reason I am definite I’m doing something wrong on it..

December 20, 2016 at 2:04 pmFinally got around to doing this one. It was very helpful! Although, admittedly, I’m a little overwhelmed at keeping track of those things now. 🙂 One suggestion I would make is next time you break this down is to go thru the transition from chatauranga to these 2 poses. I find myself thinking very hard about it when I do it, lol! Should my chest come all the way down or do I slide from chat. to updog? Or maybe it depends on how much intensity I want? Etc. etc. Loving poses with purposes, thanks!
