Naked Nutrition Review + Giveaway!
At the risk of sounding super cheesy and like a totally basic wellness blogger, I’m actually genuinely happy to be working with NAKED NUTRITION to bring you this giveaway!
They reached out offering to send me a couple products in exchange for a review and giveaway, which as you know, I almost never do. But there were a couple reasons why I decided to this time…
1. I appreciated that their products are simple with no additives, preservatives, junk or fillers.
2. I was actually looking for some collagen to try for my insane postpartum hair loss so this came at just the right time.
I just learned that collagen in this form doesn’t get absorbed into the body, HOWEVER, it’s basically pure protein which I had no idea about until I got this package and read the ingredients. While not vegan friendly, it’s 9g of protein per tiny scoop, but more on that later. Either way, I was excited to try this!
NAKED COLLAGEN– MY THOUGHTS:
– It’s Dissolvable!
I heard it was dissolvable in water, but you know how that goes, right? SOOO often when things say “dissolvable” it means it still leaves a sediment you have to get over. This stuff is actually completely dissolvable. Like, it disappears in the liquid you put it in.
– It’s tasteless.
It’s made of from beef and I fully expected it to have at least a mild beef-jerky flavor, so the suggestion of putting it in my coffee was a hard no for me at first, haha. But NOPE. It tastes like nothing, truly nothing. I put it in plain water and in coffee and I couldn’t taste it at ALL.
– Less expensive than competitors.
Let’s just call a spade a spade: Naked Nutrition collagen holds 60 servings and a tub costs $42. Vital Proteins holds 20 servings and costs $43.
Does it work?
Collagen products can’t do everything, so I’m not using it in hopes of a miracle. We had a chemistry professor weigh in on this and he said, “You can think of supplements as oil in a car. A car needs oil to survive and drive. You wouldn’t just keep putting oil in a car without checking the dipstick first. Why would you do that to your body? Because an Instagram influencer said to take collagen? How do you know that’s why you have acne until you check your own ‘dipstick’ (tests and stuff at the doctors) and see what you’re lacking.”
One thing I *am* using it for is an extra shot of protein that won’t make me feel overfull or force me to down something disgusting and gritty. So to that point, I’ll say it’s serving the purpose I was hoping for, but it’s not a miracle product.
NAKED PB POWDER– MY THOUGHTS:
– Tastes good!
It tastes like peanut butter (surprise, surprise, right?! Haha) so it’s not a questionable flavor if you mix it into oatmeal or a smoothie.
– Basically pure protein.
I like that this is a plant based alternative to protein powder. If I want to make my breakfast oatmeal vegan but don’t want that signature “protein powder” flavor, this has been a fantastic way to make sure I get what I want.
– Big nutritional value.
It’s low carb and keto friendly (if that’s your jam) with 90% less fat than peanut butter (if that’s something you watch out for).
I’ve been eating peanut butter powder for a few years now just because I sometimes swap it out for regular nut butter. I like to vary where I get my fats from but I also LOVE the taste of peanut butter! So I don’t want to miss the flavor in my smoothies, but I want the fat from something else sometimes.
I was really happy with both of these products! I thought they delivered on exactly what they said, the flavors (or lack thereof) were exactly what I wanted, and the price was great!
Naked Nutrition is going to giveaway one tub of collagen AND peanut powder to one person, too! To enter to win, just comment below and I’ll pick a winner from there (limited to US & Canada).
Winners will be announced on Instagram @badyogiofficial on Friday 1/10/2020. Good luck!
Laura McCallJanuary 3, 2020 at 11:39 am
Of course I’d love to try something different than my usual PB and Collagen products that have “extra stuff” in them. Thanks, Erin.
Kristin McCallJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:27 am
This would be really awesome to try. I use both products but the products I have probably have bad ingredients in them. I would love to try these out.
Krissy CamisaJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:28 am
I was looking to try this PB powder! Thanks for the review!
Divya KaratJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:29 am
Currently using Dr.josh axe collagen but love to try new one and i definitely trust Badyogi as well
Tonya ToutgeJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:29 am
I have been considering trying collagen for awhile, but felt really unsure about how to find a quality brand. Thanks Erin, I trust you.
Sara McElwainJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:30 am
Would love to try these products!! Especially the collagen if there’s any chance it will help with postpartum hair loss
MeganJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:30 am
I appreciate the honesty in your reviews. We all need a little bump, and I would love to try this product 🙂
Chelsea KleinJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:34 am
Really interesting and refreshingly honest take! I’m intrigued enough to try it! Thanks, Erin!
Sam CapehartJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:34 am
Ohhhh….I’ve been wanting to try this brand! I have been currently taking liquid collagen, but the costs add up with those vials. Thanks for this review! ❤
DeLaneJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:38 am
I’m 13 weeks post partum and have been curious about supplementing collagen. I’ll definitely be looking more into it. And peanut butter powder is still such a funny concept to me but I have to admit that it’s way better in granola than trying to mix in actual peanut butter.
Nicole HernandezJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:38 am
Thank you for sharing! I’ve never heard of these products before. I like the idea of adding them to my smoothies. Love the bad yogi club! X thanks Erin
Alyssa JeliJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:41 am
Sounds good! I take a powdered collagen and have noticed a huge difference in my nails and joints 🤷🏼♀️ sounds like a good product to try!
StefanieJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:42 am
Thanks for the review. I’m very new to collagen but looove a PB flavored protein!
Tanya KeatingJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:43 am
Oh, interesting! I’m super curious to try these two products. I’ve used their Naked Whey in the past and like that it’s pretty clean without an overpowering flavor. Been looking for a collagen replacement though for added protein in smoothies!
Thanks for the review Erin!
Ariele EdwardsJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:43 am
Thank you the honest review!!! Also completely obsessed with your adorable baby!!!😍
JenniferJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:43 am
This is definitely something I’d love to try! I’ve been reading up about incorporating collagen into my diet 😊
Joy MulhollanJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:44 am
I add collagen to my coffee a few days a week and I love it! I’d be excited to try a different brand. The pb powder sounds great and I’m glad it’s low carb and another source of protein. Looks yummy!
LisaJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:45 am
The PB looks amazing. Def gotta try this!
RebeccaJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:48 am
I have tried collagen supplements in the past but did not like that they were loaded with additives. I would love to try this stuff to help with some autoimmune issues that have wreaked havoc on my gut, skin and hair. Having peace of mind knowing you’re helping your body heal and flourish with clean ingredients is always a plus!
Holly TJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:51 am
Thanks for the review! I’d love to try this!
MelodyJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:51 am
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I’ve been taking collagen throughout as a way to supplement protein (and maybe try to fend off those scary stretch marks). And Peanut Butter is my life blood!
I’d love to try three Naked brand and can’t wait to check them out!
LiliaJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:53 am
Interesting info. Been wanting to try collagen powder. Didn’t know it couldn’t be absorbed (then what’s the point!) but like the idea of the added protein.
Taryn HarpoolJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:53 am
These sound so interesting! I’ve heard so many great things about collagen and would love to see the improvements they could make! Love your programs and overall attitude Erin!
Kay SmithJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:57 am
Interesting. Loved your comments..
Would love to try them
thank you for the giveaway
Esther OhJanuary 6, 2020 at 10:57 am
Thanks for your review… I’ve been curious about adding collagen to my repertoire – but quite frankly, you had me at peanut butter 😬 thanks for the opportunity 🤘🏽
RobynJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:00 am
Love natural PB powder! Excited to try this brand!
Emily HegartyJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:01 am
Love this! I was literally just researching collagen options to help deal with my postpartum hair issues!
BobbieJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:03 am
Thanks for the review. I’d like to give it a try.
Lisa RileyJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:04 am
I’ve been looking for a good protein powder! I’m intrigued by the collagen, I’ve tried Vital Proteins and I can taste it in my water-im not a coffee drinker and I only drink tea sometimes so I’m left with water for collagen and I cant get over the taste. Thanks for the recommendations!
Heather KlemmJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:06 am
I would love to try something different than what I currently use, the collagen I have doesn’t mix well. I love the flavor of PB, too!
VanessaJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:08 am
Would love to try these!! Thank you for your review.
MelJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:09 am
OoOo, love that “call a spade” section. Glad this stuff is more approachable without sacrificing taste/benefits!
JodieJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:10 am
Love that we can get the flavor of peanut butter without all the fat. Thanks for hosting this giveaway, Erin!
Alexandra LeviJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:12 am
Thanks for the review! I love that this is completly dissolvable in water. I’ve never used a product that actually does that and I’d love to try it out!
JodieJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:13 am
Love the chance to get the flavor of peanut butter without all the calories. Thanks for hosting this giveaway, Erin.
Erin NikitinJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:13 am
I was diagnosed as hypoglycemic a couple of years ago and was appalled at how much sugar was in the powdered peanut butter that I owned at the time. I love natural peanut butters, but I don’t always love the calorie count. I would love to try this product! It might be just what I am looking for.
Ashley KillamJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:20 am
I LOVE powdered peanut butter and have never tried collagen before, but would be really interested in trying it! Thank you so much for this!
BeckaJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:21 am
I would love to try this!
Laura JacquezJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:23 am
Thanks for the great review Erin! I’ve been using primal fuel but looking for a new lesser cost option and one that has a bit more protein to support all the great strength training I’ve been doing with PBR! (Can I just say the muscle gains from PBR are amazing! I have little guns!!) happy new year to you Adrian and Theo! 😘 xx
LeeAnne DoJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:25 am
I would love to try these! I’m just starting to get into smoothies for breakfast/ after a workout. But this stuff is SO expensive just to try it. It would be amazing to try them to know if I should buy more! ❤️ Thanks for the chance!
Ali StonehouseJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:28 am
Thanks for your thoughtful review, i would love to try these new products! I’ve always done PB powder in smoothies but am new to collagen!
MollyJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:34 am
I bought some PB powder a few years ago, but then we found out my son had a peanut allergy so I threw it out before even trying! Now that he has challenged out of the allergy, I keep saying I’m going to try it again. Maybe this is the push I needed! Thanks for the review details!
ErinJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:35 am
Collagen protein is my favorite!! Would love to try this one
MelissaJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:35 am
Looks delicious! Keen to try it :D.
AllisonJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:38 am
I’d love to try both of these! I like the fact that it’s completely dissolved in the liquid… no grit!
VanessaJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:41 am
I appreciate your unbiased review. I like that you compared the prices for the collagen. I haven’t tried this brand but use both collagen and protein powder. I will check out the company now. Thank you
Dahna JusticeJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:44 am
Gosh I’d love to try this! Honestly I don’t think I’ll be able to afford to try it on my own for a while so this is my only chance 🙂
Amber HJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:46 am
My husband and I have been hearing the hype on collagen but havent used it. We have recently been looking into a plant based protein and never thought about powdered PB. We already use powdered PB in our shakes or in oatmeal and love it!
Leslie PerezJanuary 6, 2020 at 11:46 am
Can’t wait to try this!
Jessica SchuryJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:06 pm
This looks and sounds great!!
AlyssaJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:10 pm
You had me at peanut butter!! But also love the fact that the ingredients in these products are wholesome and nutritional, without a bunch of additives and junk. I’ve actually wanted to try the protein powder for a while, but I have never gotten around buying a container and trying it. This is neat! Love that you are doing a giveaway of products you have honestly reviewed.
Erin G.January 6, 2020 at 12:12 pm
I use vital proteins now and would LOVE to try this! Am going to look into it no matter what since the savings is HUGE!!
Danusia ChernykJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:12 pm
I’ve never used products like this. Would be interested in trying it. Trying to get healthy 9 months post baby!
ShannonJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:18 pm
Would love to try both of these as what I have isn’t all that great. Always searching for something good 😁❤
HaileyJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:19 pm
I would LOVE to try this! I’m a new mom too and it’s no joke! I’m always looking for something packed full of nutrition that can fit into my life nicely at this point with all the post-partum fun (and I totally trust Erin’s judgment!) Please pick me!
AlexandraJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:22 pm
Sounds great! Sign me up for the contest 😊
SamanthaJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:36 pm
Oh, good reviews. I like the price breakdown vs vital proteins!
AmyJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:39 pm
LOVE the chem professors explanation on the need for supplements. It’s best to know what you’re lacking before just taking this product because an influencer says it will do “X” for you. Appreciate your review of these products!
JoanneJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:45 pm
I’ve been using PB fit – I would love to try this product containing collagen! I’m an over 60 bad yogi & would love to see it add some ooomph to my hair!
Noel ElrodJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:49 pm
Oh! I’ve been thinking about trying some collagen as a source of protein! It’s great to hear a first hand review, and I’d love to try it!
JenniferJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:55 pm
I’d love to try these and I appreciate that you mention that collage can’t be absorbed by the body in this form, so it’s not a “quick-fix” for hair, skin, nails, etc. I’m always looking for ways to mix up my protein consumption!
Angie RJanuary 6, 2020 at 12:56 pm
Great review. I would like to try these.
JessicaJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:04 pm
I’m postpartum too (my boy is 3.5 months) and am definitely interested in the collagen! The hair loss is real!
HaylieJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:08 pm
Thanks for the review! Always looking for something new to try.
Desiree konieczkoJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:20 pm
Corie ShepardJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:30 pm
Great review and great giveaway! I am still really up in the air with the collagen, but would love to try the PB. It is so hard to find a protein that isnt chalky or grity with that nostalgic protein powder taste.
EmokeJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:31 pm
I never ever tried them before, but not I think I will 🙂
Thank you for this 🙏
kellie jeffrisJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:38 pm
I love the idea of no added sugar which is so hard to find in these powdered products and would LOVE to it!! thanks for the opportunity 🙏 everything you do is magic 💫✨
LindseyJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:42 pm
Would love to try these rather than the grocery store powdered peanut butter! Thanks for the review!
DianaJanuary 6, 2020 at 1:51 pm
I read product reviews about as often as you post giveaways! And my criteria is similar to yours. Thank you for being honest and not pretending this is a miracle product to solve all of my life problems when in fact, it is mostly an good source of protein for a busy new Mom. I wish more products fit your criteria that make them worth an actual review.
Sam SJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:03 pm
I would be really interested in trying these! Not 100% sold on the collagen fad all the sudden, but I’d give it a try for sure. I too love peanut butter so I’d for sure love to try this powder out too.
AarynJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:08 pm
Looks amazing would love to try it!
MelissaJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:09 pm
Thanks for the very honest review. I have not tried this brand but it looks great. I used a different brand that does not have this much protein and am very interested in trying it. I love mixing a scoop of collagen with a packet of electrolytes as a recovery drink after my daily dose of 1 hr cardio. My muscle fatigue is much more controlled that way. PB powder sounds great in a smoothie as a plant protein. Thanks for the suggestions.
Amelia HallJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:14 pm
This is super neat!! I love that your branching out with this giveaway, happy new year to you and your family!
I have been following you for years(not like a creepy stalker) your youtube videos were what started my life with yoga!
DevonJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:24 pm
I’ve never tried PB powder or collagen. But now I’m intrigued!
Oksana F.January 6, 2020 at 2:31 pm
Collagen is my favorite way to sneak in some protein, and if you’re really fancy, it’ll even help with frothing up your latte/coffee! I’d love to try some from this brand and the peanut buttah!
RebeccaJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:34 pm
I would really love to try this! I haven’t tried a protein powder yet but I have tried collagen in my shake.
Rebecca ManganelloJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:38 pm
As a fellow new first time mama here, this sounds awesome and I’d love to try it! I’m 1 month postpartum today and feel you on the hair!
VanessaJanuary 6, 2020 at 2:53 pm
Loved the additional information on collagen. Have been thinking of trying it myself, but maybe I need to re-evaluate why I would want to add it to my diet. And I personally feel that peanut butter is a daily need haha! Would love to try these!
Jenna ClarkJanuary 6, 2020 at 3:21 pm
I would love to try these!
IngridJanuary 6, 2020 at 4:14 pm
Just heard someone talk about collagen supplements yesterday and then I see this! Yes, I would love to try these products—it’s tough to get enough protein in and I’m soy intolerant which limits my options.
Carlie FascherJanuary 6, 2020 at 4:17 pm
I would be interested in trying something different..I’ve used protein powder on and off but never cologne…would like to see if it makes a difference
Rini WhiteJanuary 6, 2020 at 4:24 pm
I would live to try these. Trying to find something clean, that tastes decent and doesnt cost a fortune is such a pain for me. I’ve sort of given up.
Krystal BazylinskiJanuary 6, 2020 at 4:48 pm
After reading your review, i was very interested to try out this product. I’ve tried others in the past that were tasteless or horrible tasting! This brand just might be my new jam!!! ❤️❤️
Emily KratzerJanuary 6, 2020 at 4:50 pm
I would really like to try either of these!!
AndreJanuary 6, 2020 at 4:52 pm
I want to try!
RachelJanuary 6, 2020 at 5:00 pm
I use Vital Collagen now and it’s very annoying that it won’t last a whole month. The collagen has helped me manage my knee pain though. I had surgery in my teens and my knee has alway aches since.
KristenJanuary 6, 2020 at 5:18 pm
I have been looking for a collagen powder that is dissolvable and completely tasteless! I’d love to try!
Mollie MooreJanuary 6, 2020 at 5:29 pm
This sounds awesome! I HATE when powders leave a residue, so I’m excited to hear that this actually dissolves! The PB sounds great as well!
Kristy RainwaterJanuary 6, 2020 at 6:04 pm
Thanks for the no nonsense reviews! I’ve heard good things about Naked products before and I’d love to try them! Glad you are doing this giveaway.
RebeccaJanuary 6, 2020 at 6:06 pm
Thanks for the review! I’m also interested in trying both products-but especially the collagen for this crazy postpartum hair loss!
Amanda MessengerJanuary 6, 2020 at 6:07 pm
I would love to try- but the big question is, do they ship to France?? You know what I’m talking about when I say I can’t get into another product that isn’t available in my chosen home 🙂
Marisa DucworthJanuary 6, 2020 at 6:10 pm
I’ve wanted to implement a protein shake into my diet but so far most of the ones I’ve tried just simply taste nasty and gritty! I’d love to try this!!! So many benefits of just simply adding that extra protein into my diet!
KatelynJanuary 6, 2020 at 6:10 pm
Such a great review! Looking for a new collagen to help aid in my daily routine!
Ash O’LearyJanuary 6, 2020 at 6:21 pm
Ooh! Looks great! I’m trying to go vegan for the month of January to figure out what stuff I’m allergic/have issues with (I know lactose is one of them, and gluten may be) which makes getting good protein in a challenge. This would be great!
JudymJanuary 6, 2020 at 7:03 pm
I would love to try these. I recently bought Dr Axe collagen powder. Would love to compare.
ToshiaJanuary 6, 2020 at 7:13 pm
Great review. It actually makes me want to try it!
Becky MotykiewiczJanuary 6, 2020 at 7:18 pm
Oh I would loooooooove to try these!!! I’ve been looking for a plant based protein and due to low thyroid my hair has gotten sad and thin.
JulieJanuary 6, 2020 at 7:25 pm
I would love to try both of these products to see if they will help me in reaching my new year’s goals!
KellyJanuary 6, 2020 at 7:33 pm
I use protein everyday in my smoothies! Been wanting to try both PB and collagen for a while and really appreciated the review!
KristenJanuary 6, 2020 at 7:52 pm
Awesome! I’ve wanted to try pb powder that doesn’t have a ton of added sugar

Carly MathiauJanuary 6, 2020 at 8:50 pm
Sam CotaJanuary 6, 2020 at 8:55 pm
I would love to incorporate this into my fitness/health routine! Protein powder really helps me fill the protein gap from not liking meat.
BrianneJanuary 6, 2020 at 9:24 pm
I make my own protein bars (I can’t seem to find one that I love at the grocery store) and would love to try these out! Thanks for the info, Erin!
Katie ZJanuary 6, 2020 at 9:42 pm
This is exactly what I needed. I’ve been intrigued by colleges of late, but was concerned I was just being ‘influenced’. I’d love to win, but will make a point to try both no matter what!
Iris TeruelJanuary 6, 2020 at 9:56 pm
I’d love to try these products, I saw a comment saying it was good when you have a lot of food sensitivities, in my case a lot of allergies, so I think this will be a great option for me, thanks for your review Erin!!
Taryn BeaupreJanuary 7, 2020 at 12:13 am
Thank you for the info on these products! I’m very interested in trying them out 🙂
AmamdaJanuary 7, 2020 at 7:19 am
Would love to try something new. Started using collegen powder this fall and like it a lot but have only used one brand.
I am a working mom of 3 boys and am working on self care and finding balance this year.
RAQUELJanuary 7, 2020 at 9:10 am
I would love to try these.
Stacy CharltonJanuary 7, 2020 at 9:18 am
I was wondering about collagen while breastfeeding, so this kinda answers the question lol. Would love to try these out.
Lindsay CarterJanuary 7, 2020 at 9:31 am
Thanks for the chance ! I would live to give these a try !
AmandaJanuary 7, 2020 at 9:46 am
I’ve been intrigued by PB powder for awhile but given that it can be quite expensive and I primarily use my nut butters for spreading (on toast, apples, rice cakes, etc.) I’d been moreso waiting to get back into smoothies in the summer to try it out. This brand sounds great though – always a fan of less ingredients – so hopefully I can source some here in NS, Canada (if I don’t win of course 😉 )
MeganJanuary 7, 2020 at 9:53 am
Would love to try this! I’ve been looking for a good protein supplement that doesn’t leave a nasty taste!
Anna FreerksJanuary 7, 2020 at 9:54 am
I have heard so much about these products, and have wanted to try them! I have started my wellness journey, and need all the help I can get! #sweatforthedress ☺️

Rachel EarlJanuary 7, 2020 at 10:18 am
I”d be interested in these. I’m trying to find a good way to add more protein to my morning smoothies.
Elizabeth WJanuary 7, 2020 at 1:18 pm
I would love to add the peanut powder to my smoothies!
CarlaJanuary 7, 2020 at 6:23 pm
I’d love to try. Love the idea that there’s no crap in them.
Judy HaddadJanuary 7, 2020 at 9:54 pm
Thank you for being honest!!! I have been on the fence about collagen and I just stopped taking any and all supplements—love the chemist you quoted. But I would like an easy way to add protein without having to taste it! Also PB is the best!!
Alice HolcroftJanuary 8, 2020 at 10:23 am
Count me in!
angela lazoJanuary 8, 2020 at 12:04 pm
I would really love to try these products.
Barbara HJanuary 8, 2020 at 5:44 pm

ankit mishraFebruary 15, 2020 at 10:22 am
thank you for sharing your information with us
ElisaDecember 29, 2022 at 5:47 am
Sounds very good. In fact, in addition to a good diet, it is also very effective to use whey protein 1 kg which will help you achieve your sports goals in the best possible way. This is very effective even in my experience.
