Bad Yogi Community Perfect Body Yoga Program

March Bad Yogi Spotlight: Iunia (June) Crihana

Is it March already!? YEP, and it’s flying by so quickly that we’re a smidge delayed in our Bad Yogi Spotlight this month.

This month we’d love to introduce one of our amazing, inspiring international Bad Yogi’s! Over the months, she’s become a more active member of the PB Programs Members Only Group on Facebook. June isn’t afraid to be vulnerable and honest, making her an insanely inspirational human within the group. She Kicks butt at PBYP and we love watching her progress. This month we’d like to introduce you to: Iunia (June) Crihana!!!

Q. How do you pronounce your name?

I don’t know how to write it but I will try to explain it. Iunia is actually Iunia (with an ‘i’, not Lunia (with an “L”). It’s pronounced like You-nia. I introduce myself as June because that’s how my Romanian name would translate 😛

Q. What country/state are you  from?

I’m from Romania, located at the crossroads of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

Q. Why Yoga?

I needed to start moving- like doing some form of exercise for my body- and I wasn’t fond of anything. Then I discovered yoga and how many benefits it brings, not only to my body but to my mind, too. I get to breathe and concentrate and clear my mind, it’s like spoiling myself on so many levels!

Q. How would your partner/closest friend describe you?

They seem to find me determined, powerful, always seem to know what I want, dedicated, loving and caring, but not perfect as I am stubborn and anxious too. I know for sure I’m not perfect

Q. How do you find motivation when it feels like you have NONE?

I give myself time – I stay put for a day, a week (not more than that though) to get more space about a thing or two, then start doing whatever I need to do. I guess it’s rationalizing, “ok – you had time to feel or do that, now it’s time for action”. Sometimes that doesn’t work and I need to be held accountable for it by a close friend or a fellow Bad Yogi friend who’s there for me.

Q. What do you think your purpose is?

To help people – I love to help people, I’ve been a people person for as long as I can remember.

Q. Do you feel like you’re living it?

Yup, I always do my best and try to help as much possible – I’m just there!

Q.  If all good was “health food” & there were no negative health impacts, what would you eat every day of your life?

Cookies, candies, cakes, anything sweet!

Q. Chair pose for 1 minute or plank for 1 minute?

Tough choice! I would be shaky for both but I’d choose plank in the end!

Q. What’s one fact that may surprise people, or that not many people know about you?

I don’t like shopping… not at all. I do like to own things, but it exhausts me to take the time to find those things. Can’t they get to me just like that?

Q. What do you wish you would see more of in the world?

Kindness and happiness. People tend to lose themselves in day-to-day business so they forget about most important thing – living. So definitely kindness and happiness.

Q. What do you love/appreciate most about the Bad Yogi Community?

People. Whatever your need is, they will be there. Advice, support, motivation, someone to just hear you – they will be there. Anything you’d want to discuss… difficult or maybe awkward things…sad or happy…if you hesitate and don’t ask, someone will and you will get so many answers! They will be there for you.
