3 Ways to Reach Your Goals With the Perfect Body Yoga Program

There are tons of resources out there that want to teach you how to succeed, but in reality, there’s really just a few key things you MUST do in order to reach your goals.

Here’s what’s worked best for me:

1. DECIDE to commit. 
This sounds obvious at first glance, but I want you to really think about this. You know how it feels when you guilt yourself into doing something. “Oh, I really *should* do this thing. I’ve been meaning to anyway… Plus I have that thing I need to get ready for, so I guess I will.” This almost never ends well. You have to consciously DECIDE to enter contracts with yourself. If you come into something with the attitude, “I want to make this change and I’m ready for it. I’m ready for the challenges and for the triumphs. I want this and I’m ready!” Consciously bring yourself into that second camp and you’re well on your way for your goals to become realities.

2. Tell someone!
It’s an old trick but a useful one. If you pass along your intentions and confide in a friend or an acquaintance, you’ll naturally NOT want to let that commitment fall apart. Even if you don’t want to physically tell anyone, you can write your goal or commitment on a sticky note and tape it to your bathroom mirror. You’ll have to stare at it every morning and remind yourself of the promise you made to yourself. And who wants to break the kind of promise that stares at you with those big wide eyes every single day? Not me!

3. Drop the comparisons.
Part of the deal you make with yourself when you commit to something like this is to drop your comparison to other people. Other people’s journeys don’t matter unless they inspire or uplift you. You have to swear to yourself NOT to go looking at other people and start wishing you looked like them. The “perfect” body is simply the healthiest version of the body you already have. And if you’re on the path to get there, then what do you need to compare?

Starting something like the Perfect Body Yoga Program can feel daunting at first, but it’s SO achievable if you set yourself up correctly. These simple things WILL help, and don’t hesitate to implement them right when you get started so you have the best possible chance for success.

    Hi Erin Motz
    My husband is an academic…usually very serious and his head down in books or his work. Also stiff as a board. He is also sweet and kind and totally inlove with me…BUT ..with you too! Nothing lights up his face more and automatically loosens him up more when I say yoga time and he sees you’r on…that makes me love you too xxx
