Attention all weightlifters! If you’re not doing yoga to compliment your weight training schedule, I’m here to tell you that you need to start.
It doesn’t have to be a complex habit & it doesn’t need to be time consuming. But when you start incorporating yoga into your schedule, you not only address chronic tightness and little aches and pains, but you’ll become a better athlete. I know that’s a big statement, but trust me.
I did this class with two special guests: Adrien & our friend, Rodrigue Chesnier, a professional bodybuilder and the future Mr. Olympia (we’re manifesting it with him!). They’re both weightlifters and both often feel super tight in their movement, so I thought they’d be perfect to demonstrate this one!
Here’s a 10-minute sequence you can do before or after your training sessions to counter some of the imbalances that come from weight lifting.
