Original Yoga Challenge Day 29: Yoga for Better Sleep

An oldie but goodie: I am ALWAYS revisiting this sequence for better sleep. If you have trouble falling to sleep or staying asleep, keep this one bookmarked for future use! Sweet dreams!

***
Better sleep is NOT that far away. I wanted you guys to have a class that would help you get a good, restful night’s sleep, so that’s what we’ll be doing today.

This is similar to some of the restorative classes we’ve done but with a heavier focus on calming the mind. Since our brains are what tend to keep us tossing and turning at night, I thought we could redirect our attention to settle down and find sleep.

Over to you! Have you ever done yoga before going to bed? I find it makes all the difference if I just take some time to quiet down. What about you?

This is actually when I do my yoga. I love the way that my body feels after I have stretched it, I have started doing it morning and night. It seems to give me a better day and I usually fall asleep pretty quickly anyways; but lately my stress level has shot through the roof with Nursing school and I wake up quiet frequently. I will give this a try and see if I can tell a difference. Hopefully I can!
