Original Yoga Challenge Day 23: Yoga for The Upper Back and Neck

I know I constantly get questions about how to relieve tightness and tension in the upper back and through the neck, so today’s flow is focused on doing exactly that.

We’ll do a few things in today’s flow that you can refer back to any time you need a good stretch in that area. It’s like a yoga toolbox 🙂 It’s perfect because you can refer back to this one any time!

Over to you! Do you have neck and upper back tightness often? Have you ever heard of “tech-neck”? Apparently it’s becoming a major problem in our society today because we’re all constantly staring DOWN at our phones. It’s while we sit, while we stand, and even from bed. If there’s ever a reason to stop, I’d say this is it!

    For a person who holds a lot of stress in her shoulders this one was fantastic! Thank you for giving me some variations on what I can do to release stress, that eagle arm poses really helped! thank you

    I was a few days behind since returning from a business trip and doubled up on shoulder and headstand classes yesterday, so this was a nice class to stretch out my shoulders. What will I do when the challenge is over?! Will it stay up on your blog or be taken down?
