Original Yoga Challenge Day 25: Sun Salutation Yoga Flow
So, how about a flow with sun salutations? You got it! It’s almost like I read your mind, right? 😉
Today’s class is exactly that: a flow FULLY dedicated to lots of sun salutations and plenty of variations of them.
You’ll get the heart rate up just a bit in today’s class, so not only is it a higher energy flow, but one you can use to tone up as well.
Enjoy!
Over to you! How’d it go? What;s your favorite sun salutation addition or variation?

October 25, 2016 at 9:50 amMy forward fold is terrible! My hands are only at about knee level…suggestions?
Tracy
October 26, 2016 at 8:39 amyou could try doing the fold with your feet further apart, that should make it easier and then you can work up to doing them with feet hip width apart. Also, make sure you are tightening your abs and leading with your chest. I have herniated discs, so forward folds can be painful for me, but if I keep my chest actively pushing forward, it takes the pressure off my back. I hope this helps.

December 24, 2016 at 11:35 amLoved this practice as well….I just keep saying this after everyone! I do have a question, I find I am very tight in the lower back and hips when trying to go from down dog to bringing the feet forward to meet the hands in forward fold. I land about 2 feet away from my hands! and to bring the leg through the hands for crescent is tough, any ideas on how to gain more flexibility in my lower back for these moves? Thanks so much, and Merry Christmas!!
