I AM Yoga Challenge Day 8: I am Loved
Today’s mantra is I am loved.
Today’s class is all about love. Loving yourself, your body, and understanding that you’re capable of receiving AND giving love.
So naturally, we’re focused on all kinds of backbends today! From the simplest to more advanced, you’ll have the opportunity to work up to your favorite heart-freeing poses.
Enjoy!
Over to you! How do backbends feel to you? Tight and constricted or free and easy?

January 9, 2017 at 7:15 amHi, Erin! I just wanted to take the time to write a comment and say what a blessing this yoga challenge has been to me! I have been going through some crap lately and felt like I needed to just do something to care for myself a little more and came across this yoga challenge. The Lord has spoken to me so much through each of the themes of these videos. Every day they are exactly what I needed! God bless you for taking the time to put these together! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

January 9, 2017 at 12:19 pmHi Erin,
thank you so much for this flow full of backbends. I loved it and it was exactly what I needed today. I had a few very busy days last week, but your little challenge-videos kept me staying stong and practicing. βΊ
Greetings from far away Germany!

January 9, 2017 at 1:57 pmMan, this one felt so good. I have definitely learned that my arms are my weakness, but I love my body and everything that it can do. The backbends were tight, but it felt good. My heart felt so warm after this one. π

January 9, 2017 at 5:29 pmI loved todays practice! Actually when I saw the video in the Email I thought “Wheel!? REALLY!? I don’t think I want to go there!” But then I actually did try it and OMG I WAS CAPABLE OF DOING IT. I literally screamed. I am super happy right now. I actually started off yoga with you and the 30 day challenge and I love it so much now that I want to deepen my practice to be able to do teacher training. Thank you Erin for this awesome challenge and for being a bad yogi π Keep rocking it!

January 9, 2017 at 11:33 pmI loved today’s class. I hold so much stress in my shoulders and really trying to open them up felt absolutely amazing. I did try to get into a full wheel but I was feeling pretty tight so I did go back down to a half and it did feel so much better. I just need to make sure that I keep stretching to open up my chest area to help me get to a full wheel more comfortably. Of course I will always say thank you again so much for doing this! it has helped me heal in more ways than you can even imagine. See you again tomorrow!
