Free Yoga Class The I AM Yoga Challenge

I AM Yoga Challenge Day 2: I am peaceful

Today’s mantra is I am peaceful and our yoga class will truly reinforce that.

We’ll start out with a bit of relaxing breath work and then add on some forward folds and easy-going twists.

You’re probably tired of hearing it, but MAN I love a good relaxing class! As usual with classes like this, you’ll walk away feeling refreshed and confident that you can approach your day with a peaceful mindset instead of a chaotic one.

Enjoy!

Over to you! How can you take this mantra OFF the mat? What does “peace” mean to you?

So nice, did this in the morning before work. The breath and the forward folds and cobbler’s pose all worked for me to get this feeling. Thank you. This would be a nice practice before bedtime, right? Thank you for doing this.

What a great way to start my day. I’m headed back to work after the long holiday weekend and I plan to carry this mantra with me today and the days to come. Peace is a choice. Just breathe!

I’m so in love with your mantras, Erin! I AM peaceful is amazing! I feel relaxed and stretched out! I’m not a fan of flying and I think this mantra and remembering what I did here today will help enormously! Thank you for being here for all of us bad yogis!

Peace means for me to stay in the moment and be mindful of whatever I’m currently doing instead of worrying about the past or the future. Thank you for the mantra today!

This was nice. Feeling the peace in the middle of a severe Florida storm, nervous shepherd dog right beside me, sustaining a very peacefilled whack once or twice to be still and my husband in his office trying to IM me on his last day off… I can tune out what needs to be thankfully and remain aware if need be… so THIS mantra today was absorbed! Thank you !!! ~m 🙂

I loved this one, Erin! It was just what I needed, as I was getting really stressed out over a few things earlier today. I also think it was a really good compliment to yesterday’s workout, because on top of that, I had done a pretty squat and lunge intensive workout yesterday. I could really feel how much my legs enjoyed the stretch today, and my spine actually audibly cracked impressively in the twist!

Fantastically relaxing class! I needed this after another yoga challenge I’m following kicked me in my ass today (a side plank into tree legs is not the easiest move). Thank you!

This was nice 🙂 I was fussing a little bit about not being able to do deep forward folds (my legs are very tight), and the reminder to just be where you are helped me let go of that and accept that right at this moment, the point I could bend to was enough, if only for this practice.

I really noticed how different I felt after breathing through the four & eight counts – I’ll be taking that with me for sure. Peace for me is still contentment. I find it most often when I’m taking care of my plants 🙂 Happy to have Day 2 on the books!

Peace means to mo to just be peaceful haha :), but yes, to do not stress around when for example a person bumbs into you. To just think that they are in a hurry and it is not against you. Peace means also to breath in and out if you see something that stresses you. Or to let someone else step into the train first. Or to smile at little ids who are crying, thinking that you probably acted the same way. We can train our peacefulnes in so many situations throughout the day. Peace is also, to me, that constant inner smile and love in my tummy 🙂 <3
