I started having bad hip issues for over a year, even these postures are difficult and I find no relief in them, I don’t know where else to turn besides medically.
These exercises on day 13 are great for hips.
    Thank you Bad Yogi!

I loved it that you especially mentioned the piriformis muscle and how to do a stretch that helps relax it. I’ve been fighting what they call Piriformis Syndrome for a long time – it comes and goes, but has never really left so far, grrr! I most likely end up irritating it from HIIT workouts and running (well, more like racewalking) but you are right – it can send some nasty pains shooting down my leg when it gets swollen and impinges the sciatic nerve.

This class is one of my favourites of the challenge! Since I fell of my horse two years ago, I have troubles with my back and hips, what bothers me when I’m running. And the running itself also gives tension to my hips, what I think now is my piriformis muscle, so this kind of classes are perfect for me!

I really enjoy these videos and all the cues you give! I have been doing yoga at a “big name gym” about 5 years and every one of your videos I learn something new. Thank you… I just recommended you to a friend in Florida who needs to do some stretching and he was looking into yoga and I thought of you and how nice your videos are
