Original Yoga Challenge Day 7: Crow Pose Tutorial & Flow

Hey everyone! Can you believe we’re already ONE WHOLE WEEK into the Original Yoga Challenge?! The time on this is flying by!

As a mini-celebration for our first week in the books, I want us to tackle one of the most elusive poses in yoga: Crow Pose. We see it all the time in pictures on social media and in classes, but seeing it in pictures and knowing how to get there is totally different.

I’ll show you how its done in today’s class, so get ready 🙂 You’ll learn exactly how to master Crow Pose in this flow!

Over to you! How did it go?! Did you get it on the first try or is it going to take a bit more time? If so, remember that this pose is TOUGH. It’s completely normal for this to take time to get just right. Go easy on yourself and trust that it’ll happen when it’s supposed to.

I love arm balances! Crow is one of my favorite, along with side crow. I also enjoyed the ab work to prep for crow. Great class.

I’ve always wanted to get crow. For a brief second, I had it. Your preps are so helpful. Will definitely keep practicing it.

Oh my gosh, Crow has been a ongoing challenge for me. I find side crow so much easier. But todays Crow tutorial was just what I needed to get into crow and hold it for several seconds. I was so excited that I practiced crow a few more times. Using the block made all the difference for me! Thank you Erin!

Not a chance! This old back will not bend enough to allow me to place my knees anywhere but on my triceps, and that HURTS! then, its a complete face plant, no balance or pause whatsoever! Not my finest moment!

I always thought that your knees went to the outside of your arms, never on it. It was hard but not terribly. If I try it once or twice a day for the rest of the 30 days I might be able to get it!

    Thanks Erin!
