Original Yoga Challenge Day 2: Yoga Workout for Chest and Shoulders

Welcome to Day 2 of the Original Yoga Challenge! Today is all about the chest and shoulders.

Today we’re going to mainly be focused on opening the chest and shoulders, and improving our posture along the way. I especially love doing a flow like this right after I get out of bed or stop working for the day because it’s a great way to undo all the weird posture we hold in our sleep or while sitting at a desk all day.

Over to you! How’d you like this one?!

It was relieving to do today’s class. I realized how stronger my shoulders have become over time. It felt really good. Thank you Erin Motz. I enjoyed the flow.

Really liked day two! Most people have trouble with their lower back but I carry all my stress and worry in my upper back and shoulders. Felt really good to open up the chest also.

I missed day one and combined the two classes for an extra long practice today. Hip openers, plus shoulder and chest poses were the perfect combo. Looking forward to day three.

Awesome Day 2…I need to do that one everyday! Working at a desk does terrible things to your shoulders.

I’m getting the emails now, yay! BUUUUT… I hurt my chest muscle last night & cannot move my arm! So definitely no chest & shoulder work for me today, boo!
I was really looking forward to this challenge but I will restart once I get into my osteo & my arm working again!

You can also find it on Youtube, either by typing in the name in the search field, or by following Day 2 – it’s usually suggested on the side bar 🙂 good luck!

Feels great! The only pose I struggled with was the down dog holding it with only one arm and reaching the other arm to the opposite leg. Tough! That is why it is called a challenge!

I haven’t done this before, and I’m so loving it! After finishing the PYBP, this is a great way to keep up my practice – I’m adding 10-15 minutes of cardio beforehand, and it’s perfect. Thank you!

So interesting to think about how I was physically when I first did this challenge three and a half years ago – where one day like this was totally enough movement for the day. Now however I can do yoga for hours and I´m gonna add on a few more days for today 😉

Loving this so far! I’m getting a late start (just now doing Day 2) but the length of the daily routine is perfect and the routines have been spot on as well! Thank you for offering this. I am telling all my friends to join in!

OMG my arms are so weak. Holding all of those downward dogs was really difficult but I’m so proud of myself for finishing two days in a row. I don’t have a lot of space but I don’t let that stop me. I can’t wait to do tomorrow’s
