The Original Yoga Challenge is BACK! + Why it means so much to me.
The Original Yoga Challenge is coming back and it’s here starting October 1st!
Yes, we’re celebrating its return by doing the 30 days all over again, and I could NOT be more excited! You’re probably thinking, “well of course you’re excited– it’s yours!” But the reason I’m so excited goes beyond just doing the classes themselves…
This challenge was something I seriously thought no one would care about when I made it. I was hoping 100 people would sign up (and I also hoped they would be more than my mom and friends), and instead, THOUSANDS signed up. It took on a life of its own and became this huge thing with over 12 million views on YouTube.
It turned into a way for people to access their own abilities. I know that sounds like a really grand statement, but it’s true! This isn’t my opinion though, but this is a summary of the thousands of letters I’ve gotten about it from others.
Beyond that, it proved that you don’t have to be any certain way to be a yogi. You can be from any background with any level of ability and do yoga. It doesn’t have to be so hard or complicated.
So, that’s why I’m so excited to bring this back. And I hope you’re as excited to re-do this challenge as I am 🙂
Over to you! Did you do this when it first came out? If not, what are you most looking forward to? If so, what will be your favorite class to re-do?
Still haven’t signed up?! Click here (it’s free!)

September 29, 2016 at 4:00 pmI discovered the 30-Day Yoga Challenge a couple of years after it came out. I was teaching Fitness to grades K-6th, and was looking for yoga instruction that was appropriate for my students, and FREE (zero budget). The Challenge was great because Erin was so personable, the instruction included a variety of modifications (met each learner at their ability level), and I didn’t have to worry about inappropriate language or images. I so enjoyed doing the Challenge with my students, and decided to continue it on my own at home. Thanks, Erin!

September 29, 2016 at 4:50 pmI discovered the challenge about 2 years ago and have been using it ever since. I was bummed when is was unavailable but I had done it for so long that I have some of the days memorized, especially day 24 (I think) the morning routine.
I also used the challenge with summer school kids and they loved it! At the end of every video when you say “namaste” they would all say “namaste in bed.” too funny. Thanks for all the great things you do!!

September 30, 2016 at 9:39 amI love this challenge so much. I had been away from my mat for months and this challenge is what brought me back. It reminded me how much my body loves yoga and also reminded me that we don’t all have to be vegan fitness models to do yoga. And for those of us that are vegan fitness models, that’s fine too. 🙂 Bad Yogi’s all inclusive philosophy is amazing and exactly what the yoga community needs. Thank you for creating this Erin, you will never know what a difference it’s made in my life. Namaste! ?

September 30, 2016 at 3:18 pmI found this yoga challenge about 18 months ago. It started my yoga journey!
I was looking for yoga that I could do at home at my own convenience – I was fighting postpartum depression and PTSD.
I fell in love with yoga during this challenge, and it was a major tool in helping me to overcome my postpartum issues.
Now at 7 months pregnant I plan to start again (with modifications) in preparation for birth, and then again after my daughter is born to help me stay healthy for my two kids and my husband.
I cannot thank you enough Erin!
