New Bad Yogi Class: Fun Sequence for the Hips!

Hey Bad Yogis!

I LOVE today’s class. I know yoga classes for the hips are pretty common requests nowadays, but for good reason: SO many of us need them! Most people accumulate tightness in the hips and lower back, so it’s no wonder this is such a highly requested topic to cover. Since I never want us to get bored with our practice, I’m changing it up with some poses that you don’t see a lot, so I’ll keep you on your toes 😉

I love hip openers. I have hips like a brick from years of squash and running/cycling. Still can barely sit cross legged. Love working on it.

    Will try this tomorrow morning.

Thanks for this hip sequence Erin!
All of my muscles are sore from the weekend ultimate tournament, so both of my sides were super tired, but this class made me feel a whole lot better.
One question about ‘Craddle the baby’ pose! Is my butt bone supposed to be still on the floor or is it allowed to move from side to side as I craddle my leg? 🙂 I wasn’t sitting on the mat, but on the floor so maybe that “helped” my sit bone to move …

I really needed this today Erin! Thank you so much for this class. I am sooooo tight my baby didn’t want to be cradled! Lol 😉

Fun sequence especially as you were mixing things up! In answer to your question from the video I felt it on the left side more though I felt it all over since I’m fairly inflexible : )

Hip openers are my favorite. I have so much trouble with my hips. Going from dancing 4 to 5 days a week to nothing really did a toll on me. I eventually got back into dancing but not nearly as much and now that I have found bad yogi ? I feel a million times better in my daily routine.
