My COVID-19 Lockdown Reading List

…and they all laughed and laughed because they knew she had a baby and would probably hardly get through a fraction of a single book, let alone a whole list ๐Ÿ˜‚

Okay, but for real, I do feel like my life is starting to level out in terms of intensity, so making time to read is becoming more of a priority. It’s a hobby that really fills me up and I’ve missed it SO BADLY! I thought I’d share what’s in my Amazon wish list in terms of books in case you also need some inspiration during this lockdown too โ˜บ๏ธ

In no particular order, here’s what I can’t wait to crack open:

1. Untamed by Glennon Doyle

2. The Courage to Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi, Fumitake Koga

3. Stillness Is the Key by Ryan Holiday

4. Wine Folly by Madeline Puckette, Justin Hammack

5. Atomic Habits by James Clear

6. The Body by Bill Bryson

7. Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and A Conspiracy to Protect Predators by Ronan Farrow

8. Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell

Over to you! What’s on your nightstand lately? Have you read anything amazing or have any good recommendations to share?

Last week I thought I had so much time on my hands, so I requested a book from my local library that has been on my “To Read” list. Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham

It’s still closed because this week I have been busy Zooming and filming all my classes for this week and next. Fingers crossed you get to your books!

First question that I must ask : how are you gonna read that many books with a baby ? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I have a 14 months old one and It takes me 1 to 2 weeks to read a book !!
Thank you for your inspiring list. I’m also listening to the Body on Audible and I’m reading at the moment Welcoming the unwelcome by Pema Chodron.
A great book to add is A life worth breathing by Max Strom. I loved it !

Just finished American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins. Haunting book about a mother and son fleeing their homeland to come to America. It gave me a definite new perspective on immigration.

Great list! I’ve been considering reading ‘Stillness is the key’ – let me know how you like it.
I’ve read Atomic Habits, it’s a great book! I’ve recently read Rising Strong and Red, White, and Royal Blue which are both such good books too.
Enjoy your reading if you get the time for it ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m rereading “Gmorning, Gnight!: Little Pep Talks for Me & You” by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jonny Sun because that’s the kind of thing I need in my life right now!

I just read Iris Arpel’s book. She’s such an iconoclast and an inspiration. Her book is beautiful to behold!
I’ve been taking this time to go through books about fellow weirdos. It’s great to know there are other people out there like me and to see them do their thing.

Hi guys I started yoga recently,
and since I started it has changed my life.
When I meditate I love listening the sound of nature,
and lately I listen to the sound of the rain
    I think it’s very relaxing,
that’s why I found a new video on youtube that I think can be useful to many people.
I leave you the link https://youtu.be/34QRf-FZM1c

Atomic Habits sounds like its up my alley. Sounds similar to The Power of Habit which was an excellent book.

This is a great list. I just finished reading “The courage to be disliked”. I wish to get more options from your site. I think COVID is the great time to improve our physical as well as mental health and yoga + books are a great combination.
