I AM Yoga Challenge Day 9: I am Open
Today’s mantra is I am open.
On and off the mat, we close ourselves off to opportunity, inspiration, progress, and so many other things. It happens by default when we don’t INTEND to remain open.
This class is all about staying open and stress-free in our bodies AND in our minds. Some of my personal favorite opening poses are in this flow, and I know you’ll love it too.
Enjoy!
Over to you! How do you close yourself up to life? What reminds you to stay open and receptive?

January 10, 2017 at 6:32 amLoved the bound dancer pose! Dancer and mermaid are two of my favorites, but I had never considered putting them together. 🙂 Thanks for the fun class!

January 10, 2017 at 7:34 amLovely class! Adored the theme of, “I Am Open” as I’m a writer who works at home and feel the constriction build throughout the day. And I’m loving the series. Even though I can’t do the more advanced poses – yet – you’ve packed a lot of goodness in a short session. Instead of losing myself upon waking in FaceBook, I’m grabbing a tea, then spending that time with you, followed by my daily meditation. Am much lovelier way to start the day. Thank you.

January 10, 2017 at 11:09 pmI definitely see improvement in my flow from one pose to the other, today I was wobbly trying to balance but when I fell I just went back into it after saying I am open. I love this class! I do tend to close myself off when things are not going well for me; which has been a lot lately. Another reason I started this challenge! It’s helped me truly find more peace with myself as well as getting into yoga which I have always wanted to try. Thanks again for such a great class!

January 11, 2017 at 12:57 amI accidentally missed yesterday (whoops) but I’m glad I did! I Am Loved and I Am Open complimented each other really well. I need to add them to my daily practice! Thank you so much for these videos. <3 You're teaching poses that I always told myself I was incapable of doing- and now I'm finding out I CAN!! Thank you for giving me confidence in my practice! Sending tons and tons of light and love your way ~~

January 11, 2017 at 8:16 pmThis was good – hard! but good. I didn’t even know how tight and wound up I was until I got into pigeon. I sometimes let my anxiety get the best of me and avoid new situations and meeting new people, so I’m going to keep this in my heart. Thank you, Erin!!

For pigeon pose are the left knee and foot supposed to be at right angles to your body or is this something comes with practise?
Thanks
