Bad Yogi Community Spotlight with Sandra Walzer

Ask anyone in the community how they feel about Sandra, and I’m willing to bet my lucky dollar that most people will immediately respond “oh, I love Sandra!” Not only is she sweet and supportive within the PB Program Members Only Group (which you get exclusive access to if you purchase any of the Perfect Body Programs from Bad Yogi) but she’s also an amazing source of accountability within the group. Sandra has already completed PB Resolution TWO times, even saying she feels like the strongest version of herself that she’s ever been. #goals

Let’s not go on for too long about Sandra. Instead, let’s turn it straight over to her. Enjoy!

Q. What is your full name?

Sandra Walzer

Q. What country/state are you from?

Hello there from Germany (South/West).

Q. How would your partner/closest friend describe you?

Hmmm I think he’ll start with colorful as I love to wear funny clothes and have loads of tattoos. And maybe he’ll say something like crazy or bonkers, positive and optimistic, calm and strong, a soccer and nature loving ‘dread-head’ who eats funny green things and can’t drive very well (the latter he says to annoy me, and it always works).

Q. How do you find motivation when it feels like you have NONE?

It’s all about how I see myself. Whenever I’ve decided to do or be a special thing or way, I just do it. „I’m a yogi“, so I step on my mat every damn day (or lift weights). „I’m a Sunday runner“, so I go running every Sunday morning. For me, it’s harder to rest than to keep going.

Q. What do you think your purpose is?

To be brave and bring magic into the world. „Fortune favors the bold“ is one of my favorite quotes, and courage, bravery, boldness, whatever you may call it, is what I value the most.

Q. Do you feel like you’re living it?

100 %, and let me tell you: It’s not easy. Sometimes people don’t understand what it means to be bold and they envy my way of life. That’s when they call me ruthless. (I’m ok with it.)

Q. If all food was “health food” & there were no negative health impacts, what would you eat every day of your life?

Avocado with goat cheese and home-baked bread, still warm. And custard, also warm.

Q. Chair pose for 1 minute or plank for 1 minute?

Haha I knew this question would come! I thought about this ever since I’ve read it in former highlights. I think I’ll take plank because it looks and sounds cool and strong. But tbh, I don’t struggle with any of them. In fact, I really like both. So let’s first plank, then chair 😉

Q. What’s one fact that may surprise people, or that not many people know about you?

Maybe that I call myself a quiet or still person. I love silence, I always shut the door as quiet as I can, I always try not to „crash“ supermarket trolleys when I get one or put it back. Why this may surprise? Because I seem so lively, talk and laugh so much.

Q. What do you wish you would see more of in the world?

Equanimity and courage.

Q. What do you love/appreciate most about the Bad Yogi Community?

That with more than 3.700 members there are still only peaceful and positive vibes and friendly words. I think once we’ve recognized the magic in this group, we all try to not only retain but strengthen and protect it.

Q.  Why Yoga?

Because it’s the answer whenever I ask myself who I am. It helps me to „stand strong and stay soft“, mantra of my life. It keeps me going and it makes me calm, it challenges me and makes me humble.
