In honor of Beyonce’s newest visual album and masterpiece, Lemonade, I thought I’d put together a list of throwback Beyonce songs guaranteed to make you want to break into spontaneous dance. Am I the most qualified person to ask which of her songs are the absolute best? Maybe not. But what’s worse: I’m a fan with an internet platform, so I’ll do it anyway!

Your consolation prize for having to listen to me is that since this amount of shakin’ it will work up a sweat in no time, you can totally skip whatever cardio workout you had planned 😉 And let’s be honest: living room dance parties > literally any other form of exercise.

But all joking aside: I’m a big fan of hers because she’s a woman who owns who she is, she took full creative control of her business and career, and empowers people through her work. That is about as much as I hope to accomplish in my life, and I just say MORE POWER to any woman out there doing the same thing.

Now, back to that list:

1) Countdown
I dare you NOT to dance to this. I didn’t say you had to dance well, but you will dance, I promise that.

2) Single Ladies
… No I did not try to learn this choreography on my own. Why would you even ask?

3) Crazy In Love
It never gets old! I want to walk every street with this much sass and confidence.

4) Formation
I’ll steer clear of making any cultural statements of my own about this song, but I think it’s safe to say this one will go down in history as one of the best.

5) Flawless Remix with Nikki Minaj
I woke up like this. Actually, I didn’t, but Bey probably did.

6) XO
Such a feel-good song to sing along to.

7) Love On Top
Currently taking bets on how many wedding playlists this one ended up on! It’s one of my all-time favorites!

8) Run the World
WHO RUN THE WORLD?! Girls. The girl power anthem of your dreams. Also: I want every outfit in this video.

Over to you! Did you see Lemonade? What did you think? Are any of these songs ones you could listen to over and over, or are you not a Beyonce fan at all?
