1-Minute Motivation: The ONE Thing You Need to Do to Succeed in 2017

All of the most successful people in the world share this in common.

Before I read this in the Wall Street Journal a few weeks ago, I guessed it was something like, “Wake up at 4AM every day.” Or, “Exercise before the sun comes up!” Or maybe even, “Go vegan!”

Turns out, it’s WAY easier than any of that and super gratifying 🙂

This video is a 1-minute motivation to kick off your New Year on a strong note. Let me know if you take this advice, too!

Over to you! I’m putting you on the spot. How’d it go?? I surprised myself with how many things I learned/accomplished/was proud of in 2016. I ended up writing small things that I brushed off as nothing, but actually made me feel really proud. What things surprised you?

Wow! As I starting writing down a few things, more and more “wins” came to my mind and on to my pad of paper it went. I think this is something I need to do often as I forget my “wins” as the year goes on. I do feel really proud of myself!

Great advice, thank you! I need some positive ammunition against the negative voice in my head that has been telling me that I let myself get fat during the holidays and now I am a gross slob.

That voice is 100% wrong. That “voice” is nothing but a crappy roommate. Listen to the bigger soulful voice that’s in there, too! <3

This is great advice, Erin! I was actually seeing a therapist because I had a lot on my plate last year and a great deal of stress that went along with it, and he recommended doing this type of thing everyday; he called it the “Ta Da!” list instead of “To Do”. When I started to keep track of everything I did, I kept thinking, “wow, I never really realized all of the things that I actually accomplish in a day!” It makes you feel pretty amazing and motivates you to keep doing more!!
